« easy on and off »

The stabilizers were easy to put on and remove...the added traction facilitated our hike on an icy trail. They are well worth the price and I will be able to use them during the ski season too.

« Just got this, haven't used it yet »

Looks good, fits the shoe well. I haven't used it because it has been raining like the world is coming to an end.... I'll update it when I see some snow / ice on ground and get to actually use this.

« They slip off »

I live in Wisconsin - lots of snow and ice. I walk 4 miles everyday at the dogpark and have been using YakTrax Pro for about 4 years. The Jazebra cleats work good on ice with a light snow cover, but fall off easily - they need a stronger top band and at least an option for a strap to go over your foot. They are good (even better) for a limited type of ice/snow but not as comfortable as the YakTrax. The 2 can be found at about the same price - but only go with the YakTrax Pro.

« Size Medium frequently fall off my size 8 boots. »

I bought size medium based on the sizing chart. Unfortunately, the STABILicers frequently fall off my size 8 men's winter boots. I don't immediately realize when they fall off, once I do, I have to backtrack on the trail looking for the STABILicer that has fallen off. One time, I didn't realize one of the STABILicers had fallen off and almost fell because I expected to have good traction on some ice. I bought black, red may be better for noticing that they have fallen off and finding them on the trail when they do fall off.

I'm using these while walking my dog on local trails in the woods of eastern Massachusetts, nothing too rugged. They do provide good traction on ice, but simply don't stay on. Maybe these stay on better with a larger shoe.

« Awesome product! »

I was hesitant to buy these because I was under the wrong impression that I needed cleats or studs to get good traction. But these funny little nubs work GREAT! I used them to walk back and forth from my truck to the ski lodge on ice and I could run & stop on a dime. I can't comment about using them for hiking, but if you're looking for keep from falling in your driveway, sidewalks, or wherever you may go throughout your day- these work very well!
