« Love it » Love this compost bin for the kitchen counter. I previously had a plastic tan and white bin for under the kitchen sink, but it spent most of its time on the kitchen counter, since thats where the kitchen scraps are. It was a big eye sore. This white creamic bin is much easier on the eyes, easy to wipe clean or wash. Plastic compost bag liners fit nicely inside of this, but I do find I have to rubberband the bag to the ceramic pot, to help keep the bag up where it belongs, and not sneaking down the inside of the pot. Also, using the rubberband helps keep the bag on the outside of the pot tucked in a bit neater, nicer to look at. This product may be purchased at many kitchen stores for approximately the same price. I would recommend it as a purchase if you are going to compost. Rating: (5 out of 5) @ 2010-07-26

« Looks good in Kitchen, but breakable » I am sorry I did not buy a plastic or stainless steel compose bucket. This does look good on the counter, but one worries about breaking it. The replacement "filters" don't work that well and are overpriced. Rating: (3 out of 5) @ 2010-07-20

« Practical and convenient » We love it. It's very practical, holds more than enough for the two of us, is dishwasher-safe and looks good sitting out on the counter. I would recommend this to all my friends. Rating: (5 out of 5) @ 2010-07-09

« Compost Crock » Unfortunately it was incomplete-it should have included filters and they were missing. I wrote Amazon but have heard nothing back. If it wasn't for this I would give it a 4 star. Rating: (3 out of 5) @ 2010-05-28

« Countertop composter » This item works well for collecting kitchen scraps for the composter. It prevents the smell from permeating the kitchen and makes it easy to take the scraps to the outdoor composter. It also looks good in the kitchen. Rating: (5 out of 5) @ 2010-05-02
